Materials:
- Sculpey III clay
- Beige
- Black
- Gold
- Bronze
- Yellow
- Pearl
- Translucent
or White
- 2-3 contrasting
colors
- Toothpick
- Wire
- Scissors
Directions:
- To make the
characters you need three different colors of clay to contrast.
Beige is for the face. Use first color to make cone shape for body.
Then make small sphere of beige and place on narrow end of body
for head. To make arms use same color as body and stick to sides.
- Use second
color to make veil and belt.
- Use first color
to make headband that goes around the veil.

- For Joseph
and sheperds you may add a staff.
- To make the
wall you need black. You want to make about 20 to 50 small balls
about the size of pinhead.

- Make short
slender snake about 1 in long. Curve it in shape desired. Carefully
stack them on top of snake.Pinch to create wall.
- For star use
gold and bronze.
- For Baby Jesus
and manger you need yellow, gold, pearl and beige. Use toothpick
to make lines in yellow straw.

- For angel you
need white pearl, gold and beige.
- Make body and
head as directed above but instead of arms shape wings of gold.

- Add golden
halo and belt.


- For sheep you
need translucent or white. Make small egg shaped balls. Add legs
if desired.
- For king make
character as directed above only use pearl colors to make him look
royal. Add crown, train and gift.
