Materials needed:
  • Sculpey III - Hazelnut, Moss, Vanilla Crème
  • Sculpey Flexible Alphabet Tile Push Mold
  • Liquid Sculpey
  • Plain wood craft frame
  • Brown and Green chalk, old paintbrush
  • Textured scrapbook paper
  • Scrapbook netting

Directions:

Step one - Mix until blended, one package of Hazelnut and one package of Vanilla Crème.

Step two -Roll and press flat to about 1/8" thick and about 2" wide. To texture, push and press the paper on the clay.

Step three - Cover top of frame with thin layer of Liquid Sculpey. Measure, cut, and place lengths of clay to fit all for sides of frame.

Step Four -Cover inside and outer sides of frame with thin layer of Liquid Sculpey.

Step Five -Mix and blend a 1" ball of moss and a 1" ball of vanilla crème. Roll to 1/4" wide log. Gently press flat with fingers. Measure, cut, and place to sides and inside of frame.

Step Six -Roll a 1" ball of Hazelnut/Vanilla mixture to ¼" thick and gently press flat. Measure, cut and press to the edges of the inside of the frame as a border.

Step Seven - Roll various size balls of Vanilla Crème and flatten to fit the sides of the frame. Quickly tear off edges with fingers. Dust edges with the brown chalk.

Step Eight - Cut strips of netting and press to the vanilla patches.

Step Nine - With push mold, press 3/8" balls of moss into desired letters of the alphabet. Press to the netting for each of the words.

Step Ten - Dust each alphabet tile with green chalk being sure to get inside each letter. With baby wipe, gently wipe off chalk from top of tile leaving the color inside each letter.

Bake entire piece according to manufactures instructions.
